Market Insights

The Analysis

As anticipated in this column last week, the US Dollar Index (DXY) dropped about 2%. The most notable drop was with the USDJPY, because of an indication of intervention by BOJ. Gold and Oil had a volatile but more or less flat week, while Equities and Cryptos can be said to have had a bullish week. The upcoming week is likely to see a recovery with the DXY, and a slight cooling down on Oil and Gold. Equities and Cryptos are likely to be bullish based on a potential truce in West Asia.

The Action

Look to go Long DXY around 97.5. Look to go Long Equities and Cryptos. Look to Short Gold and OIl.
